Embraced Lifestyle: What Does It Mean?

"Stop living to survive and start surviving by living." -Summer Skye Raine

To those of you who have read "A Balancing Act" here's a warm welcome and thank you for coming back to read my third blog post. For my new readers: Hi, I'm Summer, and here on Embraced Lifestyle our goal is to dig deep within ourselves to start living out who we really are. This will be a perfect read into what Embraced Lifestyle means as we touch on how you, my lovely reader, can achieve this.

First and foremost, as simple as it is to be said, we need to realize that every individuals life is different. This means every individuals way of embracing themselves will also be different. Throughout the writing, I will touch on what Embracing my Lifestyle looks like for me with the key similarity is H A P P I N E S S.

Just remember what works for me, may not work for you, and that is OKAY.

PART ONE: Diving In

This post we are diving into the meaning where Embraced Lifestyle derives from and relating it to our quote, "stop living to survive and start surviving by living."

On a day to day basis you may hear people around you, especially in the work arena complaining about their job, they hate their job, their bills, how they're on a budget and can't buy themselves nice things, they "have to do this" and they "have to do that," maybe they're crying over family or personal relationship troubles, they're stuck, and overall just getting by on life just to do it.

Let me point out, I am NOT bashing on anyone in particular or this way of lifestyle. I reconcile that life can be hard, especially when you're lead by example, it's trained into you, and there are a lot of things that need to be balanced within our society.

BUT through that, it doesn't mean we can't choose differently. We create our reality (will touch in another blog post) In correlation to my quote, that lifestyle is living by surviving, as a lot of human beings are currently doing.

So what does it mean to survive by living?

PART TWO: The Transition

Surviving by living to me turns every complaint, every stressful event, and every negative thing our reality potentially creates into HAPPINESS. On the flip side, we can be the human beings striving to bring happiness into every situation: happy to go to work, happy to save money, happy to budget, happy for people around us, happy to create a healthy lifestyle, healthy relationships, and happy that we "get to do this" and we "get to do that."

Life is a blessing.

Life is beautiful.

Life is embracing your situations, bringing yourself into the present moment. Living not in the past, not in the future, not in negativity: Living life in a positive present arena.

Life is happiness.

PART THREE: Connecting a Few More Dots

Surviving by living is a perfect way to embrace your lifestyle, no matter what you may be doing. You're bringing LOVE and HAPPINESS into every situation which means you're living in the present moment.

You're living.

You're experiencing.

You're embracing.

For me, I embrace my lifestyle through shaving my head, organizing my closet, aspiring and learning vegan lifestyle, using reusable bags and cups, appreciating my body through working out, sharing love with Instagram posting, working a non glamorous job for a sustainable future, working in a nutrition club to connect myself in the community, wearing cute outfits, not wearing makeup, and to be honest. . . my list may go on and on.

For you, your ideas and hobbies could be completely different and I hope you're realizing to Embrace It because the world needs creative spirits to bring that love and happiness back.<3
