20 Things I've Learned In 20 Years
Born around 10:00 am on October 20th, 1999. . .it's officially been 20 years since I've been born. . . yikes. That's a whole 2 decades, and let me tell you: I wouldn't change any of it. I won't bore you, my lovely reader, with a long childhood story, an interesting high school experience, and not even my homeless toxic relationship journey.
Please know, however, that no matter how developed your subconscious is from childhood trauma or how you typically react to life on the daily through the experiences you've had: you're greater than everything that weighs you down and holds you back.
That little voice inside your head that may tell you you're not good enough is only there because a small occurrence in past time. The hatred you could have for yourself or others, running away from the past, the fear of taking the next steps for yourself, the negativity, the feeling of being hurt or worthless, the difficulties, struggles, depression, anxiety, and everything in between is not who you are. Our brain is a smart, fascinating, and an IMPRESSIONABLE muscle that bases it's reality off of reactions to everything around it.
That voice inside your head, sometimes isn't even the real you. It could be 10 minute or year long version of you that went through a hard time you stored in the subconscious mind because it's all you knew at the time. Not all of these things are negative and it most certainly is not a bad thing to have the reality you do as long as it isn't affecting your happiness. The moment it compromises that you will know it is time to let go. It takes time to let go, depending on how ingrained your subconscious feels but the first step is UNDERSTANDING.

20 Things I've Learned In 20 Years
1. Depression and anxiety are real, but uncovering the truth means it is not what google description tells you it is. They are a bounced off feelings from experiences that have happened or are happening. The more depressive episodes or anxiety attacks. . the more the world is telling you: PLEASE WORK THROUGH THIS. There is a reason you feel the way you do and because you're in charge you can find out why. Depression and anxiety is something you go through, but is not who you are.
2. My reality is what I MAKE IT. When I lived in my car for three months with another human being, I never let myself down and actually enjoyed what was happening while they complained, felt discomfort, and got down with anger. We were both in the same situation with different outlooks.....hmmmm?
3. Beauty does not need to be the media. Never let the media let you down because beauty is you, honey. Don't let other people's ideal beauty lead you to believe yours isn't beautiful: it's not a competition unless you allow yourself to believe it is.
4. Everything is a lifestyle: you want real change then you have to actually change. I've learned it doesn't happen all at once overnight and it won't happen all at once one day.
5. Everything is a reality: what you fill your reality with is your truth and that is why the world is diverse. The more you latch onto your reality the more you could feel superior to another reality and this is what causes social diversion. When there is negative stigmatic energy on one's reality this leads to higher suicide rates, increase of crime, if you will: war whether this is internal, external, or global. I've come come inspire that the happier we are within our realities, the happier we can be for other people in their realities. This is a topic that needs much further description.
6. Zodiac signs, the way the stars and moon align in our universe is affecting us: NOTHING IS A COINCIDENCE. Just like the moon tides change the ocean, a large body of water.... our bodies are 75% water and the same thing happens within us. Your sun determines your ego and identity which is your main zodiac sign. Your moon sign, however rules your emotions and feelings depending on the position from the date, time, and location of your birth. I recommend the app "Co Star."
7. Everything is energy and energy creates vibes. That person we may not like.... well they've lived their own life and to be honest, you may not like their energy. If that's the case, don't create drama or hatred, simply move along because it isn't the person at the core. Your life experiences and personalities don't align.
8. Everything around you affects you. An example of this is technology. Growing up, I didn't watch movies or used any type of technology until I was 13 years old. I played games outside, I made stuff up in my mind, I played with a sense of voice and creativity which you may relate to if you were born before 2005. I am not bashing kids past 2005, but the rate at which technology is incremented into children's daily life is rapidly affecting how they play. I've personally have seen a lot more play of violent "wars" and CGI sound effects: which is affecting a lot of younger kids with how they learn in school. This is simply an example that came to mind right away but the thought process is universal.
9. We are wildly capable of everything we imagine. In school, it is common to learn that afterward we go to college to have the tools necessary for the workforce "an adult job." I believe there is a place for this workforce but there is also a place for entrepreneurs, which is beautiful even if they don't give you the tools right away, we have the power to generate our own businesses and thought processes.
10. It's okay to take the chance, even if it doesn't work in the long run. The hardships and struggles will teach a lesson, but you'll have to depict what happens. (Or if it works out, you'll be happy which is always amazing) "A wrong decision on Monday, is better than the right decision of Friday."
11. What you put into your body matters. Growing up in the USA, I've come to realize the foods I ate growing up actually have a lot of additives and things I can't pronounce that the human body won't sustain forever and this is why we have diabetes, cancer, high blood pressure, and so much more. I grew up learning this was normal and could happen to anyone, but in a true reality: it is a forced occurrence that's human made. Eating healthy and even going vegan is sustainable and your body will be able to thrive.
12. The planet is a one in a million trillion possibility and everything was meant to align, even though it hasn't. Practice I grew up learning were normal, like a cupboard full of plastic bags and a fridge filled with animal products are in reality so harmful to the environment. This has taught me to be more considerate and minimalist with my actions, because what may seem to be an abundance could one day turn against us becoming scarce.
13. How you treat others is a mirror effect on how you view yourself and the world, but nothing to do with the other person. While looking to the universe for answers has it's place, looking within takes the win.
14. Relationships with others matter. Romantically speaking, you'll know right away when you're compatible for someone, and if you're not DO NOT FORCE IT. If you're arguing, being shamed, looked down upon, talked to and not with, only doing what one person wants, reoccurring jealously when one person leaves to hangout with other people, getting frustrated with each other, not knowing how to open up to each other, forcing opening up to one another, and not sexually active together for mutual benefit. . . . it's not meant to be. It's not "I love them despite____." There is someone out there that will support you, take your breath away by looking at them and kissing them gives you goosebumps.
15. Relationships with others matter, non romantically speaking. Treat others how you want to be treated. Put energy into a relationship and that energy will be returned and manifests. Manifesting negativity energy will only continue to be negative. Manifest happiness, care, and understanding within your relationships.
16. Life is the most serious, non serious thing we will ever know. For now, it's all we know. Be committed, but filtered.
17. I am who I am because of who I was, but I can be who I want to be because I am who I am now.
18. Meditation, crystals, yoga, walking outside barefoot, and so much more are not some "hippie" spirituality but actually a link into the truth about a peaceful life. Incorporating them into your everyday will only benefit you.
19. There is always room to grow, no matter how professional or expert we may be. Growth and learning is truly a beautiful practice and a phenomenon that can manifest for the betterment. Learning from someone will never take away from our own abilities: adding is NEVER a bad thing.
20. Our life span is incredible and I have so many more years yet to live through. I couldn't be more excited for the future because living IN THE PRESENT MOMENT has taught me the truth about working hard and efficient everyday, because what we do now will affect the future. Going after your dreams means you have time, but not time to wait. Do it. Love it. Manifest it.
