Friday Reminder
“It’s Friday, Friday 🎶 got to get down on Friday.” Some of you may have left this song in 2013, but I’m bringing it forward with me in 2019.
Hey, world, it’s Summer and today I moved forward with my personal, emotional, and business self behind the scenes. I’m diving further into understanding who I am and where I’m going: and then I remembered 💭 Another week has passed, where am I right now and where am I compared to last week?
I listened to the No Fears Attached Podcast today by Megan Sip, where she spoke on episode #016 “You’re putting in work either way.” Are you putting the effort into what you want or what you’ve been doing? Is what you’ve been doing what you want?
I’ll never tell you this will be easy, but it will be worth it. Through conscious awareness and effort with the choices you have control over, the process is beautiful. It’s the balance between believing are already there by realizing everything you’re doing is creating that reality.

The Official 10/18 Reminder
If you’re still disregarding, putting on the back burner, shoving away changes you told yourself you wanted to make whether it was a year ago or a month ago: why are you wasting your time? There’s a fine line between realizing you have a long future ahead of you and going after what you desire in your day to day life. My Example
For my friends who are looking into a healthy lifestyle, questions go around “where do I even begin?” Other human beings will tell you:
1. Drink more water
2. Increase protein intake
3. Workout
4. Choose nutritious foods over processed foods
When I first began, even just these four things were overwhelming because I became a habitual person in my lifestyle. At dinner, I never knew when to stop eating. (it’s still a trend in my family to bring up 12 year old me eating 4 brats) Or throughout the day, I thought I needed to eat very little so I didn’t gain weight that night when I stepped on the scale. In workouts or basketball practice, I didn’t know what it meant to push myself because “that’s too hard.”
Replace and fill in the blanks to fit what you’re going through, but the best advice is realizing it doesn’t come all at once now and it won’t come all at once then.
Which means, you will not at the snap of your fingers be where you want ideally right now and where you want to be won’t magically appear at the snap of your fingers.
LIVE IN THE MOMENT!
ALL YOU HAVE IS RIGHT NOW.
So how do I get this done?
Whatever you filled the blanks in with, whether it is healthy lifestyle or starting a business, creating a happier home or relationship life, etc, etc. Every single day, from the moment you wake up to the moment you go to bed there are choices.
Eating healthy? Start with breakfast.
Starting a business? Start posting content.
Creating a happier home? Do the laundry that day.
Strengthening a relationship? Tell them you love them.
With every situation, there is a choice. You don’t have to get every situation right in the first day, first week: give it time but continue to be consciously aware of your choices.
